Time passes so quickly 15 years already .

Who would have thought when we lit the beacons to celebrate the arrival of a new century and a time of hope, a few months later we would see another century blighted by the stupid actions of man.

I was waiting for my wife to come out of heart-bypass surgery on the day so the enormity of this crime didn't really sink in until later.

I think it was the most horrific thing that I have ever witnessed I was watching the News as it happened an saw the last Plane crashing onto one of the Buildings. I felt sick

Also, my daughter and family live in L A and my Son in Law was in the area at the time, luckily not near the attacked buildings.

That was the start of the real Terrorist Attacks that are still continuing to day.

I was at work, I thought at the the time it was some form of spoof documentary. Another date I am unlikely to forget along with the death of JFK.

I took this view from the ferry in 1997, they could only be described as "majestic".
Such a horrific event we will never forget I'm sure.

Re: 15 years since 9/11

My partner at the time, rang me from the meeting he was at. He said, some of the Americans there couldn't get their flight home as something had happened in America.
He told me to put the television on to see if there was anything on the news. I did and was totally shocked at what l saw and heard.
