The biggest problem I had was keeping my hand steady. I took about twenty odd pics with the camera resing on the window sill and most looked good on the camera monitor, but came out blurred on the laptop screen. This was literally the only one that was in focus.

It's a Panasonic Lumix with a X35 optical zoom Leica lens. Not an entry level camera but not a specialist jobby either.

I'm not a fan of black and white pics where the subject is in colour. Personally I don't see the point, but I have no objection to anyone showing others what can be done with my pics if they want. Perhaps their own thread about photo editing might be a better idea though.

Am I the only one to agree with Realspeed? Although I did not see his picture, there are many B&W pictures that look good. It is really the ‘art’ of photography.
Going down another road, what about ‘photoshopped’ photography?
Still nice picture of the moon Fruitcake. Keep trying it can only get better. 😄
