Good morning Thursday

Woohoo! First time I've begun the daily thread

Okay, the basics: Weather not so bad here. Bit of rain during the night but not freezing, so no ice scraping hopefully when I leave work.

After my kip, I've been ordered by Mrs. Floydysaurus to wrap all the kids' and grandkids' pressies this afternoon. Ho hum, time for a large mug of coffee then with a DVD bootleg soundtrack of Pink Floyd's finest video clips for background viewing methinks.

Good Luck with the present wrapping, I am useless at it.

It is sheet ice here and a smattering of snow overnight.

Another boring day today for me, stuck inside, I cannot wait to be able to drive again and get out.

Good morning chaps and all else to follow, still raining here but promised to clear later with a max of 4deg, so no complaints.

The painting of the new loft is continuing apace, so hopefully by the weekend I will be able to lay the laminate flooring and fix the skirting boards and balustrading.

Good Morning all - just been out to the wheelie bin - drive is covered in black ice and frost. am glad today's tasks are mostly indoor and that I have a taxi booked for tonight's festivities.

Right - first load of laundry is dancing in the machine. Next task is to invade the arctic waste that is my loft and bring down the boxes of Christmas decorations!

Pitch black here, no rain or snow a bit cold.

I have the most terrible headache all night long its been banging.

Off to do my weekly shopping at 7.30am this morning, then at 10.30am off to Hornchurch to visit some friends for a while.

Morning all.

Well done, Floydy! You are now officially a member of the Good Morning club, heh heh.

Have to take pup's sample to the vet sometime this morning, and shoot into Tescos next door afterwards. Then this evening we hope to be back there, from 6-7, for the third and last puppy workshop. It gives her somewhere else to he, and is still socialising.

I need to phone the other vet too, to say can I take Holly for our 9.30am appt in the morning and see if she is well enough for her vax. Only the vet can make a decision, to see if her belly is no longer distended, and if she's still putting on weight. Her poo isn't bad at times.

I went to the bathroom at 6.30 and hoped for a lie in: no chance!

It's a nice bright morning here - snow all gone. Normally I would have gone a walk but I've got a man coming to service my burgler alarm this afternoon so we're just going to have a session at the gym.

Nothing else much planned - just more card writing & present wrapping.

Good morning All. Bright and sunny here but only 1.2 degrees, so it will be day seven in the house for me.

This morning I am planning to blitz the kitchen cupboards, chuck out all crockery, glasses, dishes etc., if they have not been used in the last couple of years. I dont need "stuff" living alone. Bare essentials will do. I also plan to go through all the spices etc which are well past their use by dates. I plan a good clear out having noticed I have a large unopened tin of Syrup two years out of date. Duh....

My daughter and granddaughter are coming for lunch today so a few preparations to be made.
