The Detectorists, BBC series 3

Has anybody else enjoyed this really laid back gentle comedy as much as I have.
Lovely simple story about two guys searching for that big break in finding a gold hoard.
I've enjoyed the acting and the characters and the way the comedy comes over. Watched the last one in series 3 last night.

I just love this series, and have watched every one since the beginning. Lovely gentle humour with eccentric characters. I do hope they make more.

I always thought there was something weird about people who use metal detectors anyway, I like weird, so I took to this series from the first episode, so easy going, one of the very few shows I looked forward to watching and I do hope there are more of the same planned, deserves an award in my humble opinion.

I love this series.The scene in the auction room was so funny.Think there's a Christmas special.

A fantastically understated, funny show, reminding me of Ealing comedy in the good old days. It will be sadly missed.

The Christmas special is on BBC2 at 10 tonight-but it's a repeat from 2015.
