Alternative to Endowment

I am currently in the process of reviewing my finances with regard to my mortgage and interested if any one has any views for alternatives to endowments as opposed to going for straight repayment. Is there a suitable alternative worth looking at.

Re: Alternative to Endowment

When you say alternatives to endowments I presume you mean you are looking into them not that you have already got one?
If so, I have known quite a few people with endowments and they have been let down with them and not had enough cash at the end of the mortgage. They are, I think, based on the FTSE so can be up and down.
My son has a fixed mortgage for 10 years but pays extra every month to try and get the total down. It is 6 years on now so they might not do that kind of thing nowadays. Good luck with the search
