Re: Over 50's Wales club (Part 1)

Going to water mine. I bet the rain will be spits and spots. 28C here. 32 in Michael's room. Locked myself in sitting room with closed curtains and fan on full blast.

Daughter having slight hysterics as she is due to fly Saturday. She is very nervous anyway. The dreadful crash today has made her semi hysterical.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (Part 1)

I haven't seen/heard anything about a crash Celyn--been outside all day---will go and have a look now. I'm flying on Monday.

We are supposed to have heavy rain for a time so will leave it and do it very early morning if it stays dry.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (Part 1)

My day is not getting off to a good start. Woke at 5.15 am, realised I'd left the car windows open overnight (and it's rained). 6.45 am man wrapping bales in the field over the road. 6.55 am Kindle switched itself off and is sulking. And later on I have to go to the Dentist (check up).

Good morning all, very hot and stuffy night, impressive lightning around 3a.m but very little rain. Sky very dark this morning so who knows what the day will bring.

Lunch at Mumbles with Jac today

Morning Sue, we posted together. Hope your day improves

Re: Over 50's Wales club (Part 1)

Thunder and lightening through the night heavy downpour at about 4.30 a.m.

Sue haven't you done that before?

Michael run out of one of his Diabetic medications, carer hadn't said it was low. So I have had to make pleading phone calls to GP, fortunately the person manning the phone knows the situation here really well. I am about to dash into Winchester to pick script up. He is having injections and pills.

It's 22C already don't think I will survive today as I have an upset tummy to boot. So feeling grot.

Keep cool, almost impossible. Seeing the 32C on the weather forecast is freaking me.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (Part 1)

Got meds. ( one of about 40+ he has) surgery brilliant. Boots not so good, first in as they opened and it took 30 mins to do the prescription! Too much of the good life last night doc? More lightening tomorrow, cameras at the ready. Perhaps we should have a photographic comp. mind you I have to work out how to put them on here. Any guidance?
