Windows 7 Won't Allow Me To Download Scrabble CD Rom 2003

I was able to download my Scrabble CD Rom 2003 on my previous desktop computer Vista but it won't download onto the laptop which is Windows 7 that a friend has given me lately.
I know something had to be entered when it was downloaded onto the desktop computer as it wouldn't accept it at first in 2009?

Downloaded onto your PC or installed and it won't run?

My copy of Quickbooks wasn't compatible with Win 7 because it runs under an old version of javascript. I still got it to run okay without the fancy graphics, bells and whistles though so there's always a way.

Tha laptop just wouldnt accept the Scrabble game to be downloaded onto it at all.
At one point, l thought it would but it stated it would take six hours!
I tried the Pearsonsupporthelpserve you suggested and although it came up with Properties, l could not see Compatible listed anywhere.
I will try again today!

Sorry! Judd. I have only just seen your post.
I did try to download it again following your links but no luck. My daughter called in tonight and l asked her to try but she couldn't download it either! It just kept 'freezing' the page up on the laptop!

People can easily help by using programs such as Teamviewer. Judd could take over your laptop and sort it out for you - if you trust him that is .

MKJ, l watched a film lately where an lT man was able to access women's computers remotely and could see and hear everything the women were doing!
I wasn't sure if it was just for the purpose of the film, or that it's possible in real life?!!

I just saw this must have missed it !

We had same problem, I'm not sure it's compatible with later versions of Windows at all. Shame as it was a really good game.
