Jonathan Rea

......... extends his lead in the World Superbikes series.
He crashed out in the first round, but, won the second ahead of his rival and team mate Tom Sykes.

A brilliant series of races to follow.

Re: Jonathan Rea

I prefer WSB but it's heyday has gone.

The days of Foggy(spit)Frankie Chili, Haga, Edwards et al were the best.,

Brands is a brilliant track and had so many great races there.
I remember years ago, going there and watching the Transatlantic races, and Bill Ivy, Phil Read, Mike Hailwood etc etc. Before that, it was the King of Brands, Derek Minter.
It was about 1968 that I first met Barry Sheene. He raced a 350 Bultaco that his Dad prepared and took the place by storm. The rest is history.
