Blue planet

BBC1

Brilliant photography and the mesmerising voice of David Attenborough.

It's wonderful.

Re: Blue planet

Fabulous. I have seen the huge shoals of Mobula Rays in the Sea of Cortez, launching out of the water and belly flopping down with a cracking splash. I have also seen the luminescence at night when we could see all the fish around our fishing boat glowing in the pitch dark.

It was a magical two weeks when we saw and stroked many whales and hundreds of dolphins. Unforgettable.

Re: Blue planet

I missed it, forgot to turn over.
I was watching Michael Ball and Alfie Boe singing.
I will try and remember next week as I believe it will be on for 7 weeks in all.

Click on this below

www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer

You will need to register and think up a password and they will ask if you have a TV licence.
Its the same licence you have for your TV so just answer yes.
You need to be logged in to watch programs. When you log in your name will appear in a little box on the top line left hand side.

When you get onto the iPlayer page just click on the program you want to watch.

It should be very simple but if you have a problem shout out and let us know.

Re: Blue planet

I was watching a repeat of the last Blue planet this afternoon, and was amazed at the beautiful corals 3 & half miles under the sea. I can't even imagine that depth.

David Attenborough was saying they grow only one hair's breadth per YEAR. Some of the corals were over 4,000 years old.
Amazing as well as beautiful.

There were sharks there who can go a year without eating !

Just watching tonight's episode now with the lovely Turtles.

The only slight thing that spoils this marvellous programme for me is, when the orchestral back ground gets a bit over enthusastic e.g. when two creatures are fighting and the music goes into overdrive.
