Sunsets

Every now and then I go all 'spiritual'

I read these words this morning, and really liked them.

It's not for everyone, or even not for many at all, but I like them nevertheless.

Dormant Spirituality

Why do you like sunsets so much? Because they take you beyond your physical dimension. You experience peace and silence.
You sense that time stops, and you understand what eternity means.
It awakens your dormant spirituality.
Whenever you have the chance, sit in front of a
sunset and relax. Do not analyze. Only watch and observe and let profound feelings of peace emerge.

I find that true.
Most us love a beautiful sunset. We photogrpah them, paint them, and watch them.
I wonder why they hold that peace and magnetism for us?

The Golden hour occurs at dawn and dusk and its loved by artists and photographers,m a time to reflect on what is to come, and what has been.

Re: Sunsets

I love a good sunset. What always surprises me ids how quickly it changes.

Every evening in Key West, a huge crowd gathers to watch the sun go down and it always gets cheered and applauded. It's quite eerie tbh.

Re: Sunsets

I wonder if we relate Sunsets and Sunrises to the events of our day?
I see the sun rise nearly every day, whilst sitting at my PC catching up with OFF's night time activities. When I see the gold/orange glow appear I look forward to the rest of the day and wonder what it will hold.

Sunsets are more attractive when it is warm and I find that they hold a feeling of relaxation... or even romance for some!

Re: Sunsets

Once, on a camping trip, I witnessed a most beautiful sunset, I marveled at the glowing magnificent orb, slowly sinking in its celestial arc, gazing in wonderment at this resplendent display of oranges and gold, thankful at this cosmic vision, then I realized something
...someone had nicked my tent...
