Re: Over 50's Wales club (Part 4)

Started off as a glorious morning. Lexi, Missy and I had a walk down the lane and I had to take my jumper off (that's a first for this year). Lexi's Dad came to collect her and not long afterwards it clouded over and is now quite cool. Ah well, it was nice while it lasted.

Got some housework done, had some lunch in town and then sat reading my book for a while. Well done to your daughter Jac on climbing Snowdonia.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (Part 4)

Late night tonight for the harvesting team. I can hear the baler going in the field over the road and no doubt the bale wrapper will be there shortly. Had a lovely walk round the field with DIL and Chris and the puppy, looks like it will be another nice day tomorrow. I'm shutting my greenhouse up at night now though, it drops down really cold, and I don't want the tomatoes to get chilly

Lovely sunshine here and people are on the beach and car park full .
My friend (the one who had a stroke last week ) phoned last night and asked me to go for lunch today so that's where I've been . Her speech has been affected but she's a tough cookie , great to see her

Good news about your friend Jac. Onwards and upwards!

Busy day on the hay again here. The little boys and I tackled as much of the ivy as we could reach on the front of the house and then we lolled about in the sunshine until the hayrake and baler arrived back in the field across the road. Made them lemonade and sent them all home just now with a casserole. Just going to shut the greenhouse and then I'm off to Craft Club.

Lovely sunny day here I visited my friend for a while, then into town to visit my niece, then some food shopping before getting the train home.
