More great pics Grumble. The Fife Arms is closed for two years for refurbishment. It's going to be a five star hotel. The funny thing is that you can still wander in and it's totally ramshackled inside! No sign on the outside to tell you what's what, but the local sweetie shop owner told us what was happening
. I hope their refurbishment is worth it, but then I did say to my partner that the highland games will bring in crowds, so hopefully it will make it's money.

Myra, thanks for the news about the Fife arms. I hope the new hotel will get rid of that awful tartan carpet! Hope to go to Banchory after Easter and possibly to Braemar.Myrtle, if you have a digital camera, take a few pictures and I'm sure we can help you to get them posted. Basically, all you need to do is to upload them to a site that can be accessed by others. Then get their address and paste that into your message. When you've done it once, it's a piece of cake.
I think I've broken the enigma code as far as posting pictures on here
