Because they cannot make tea!
I did ask for a latte, it was awful.

Hmm, I don't know about that Joe.
But I did learn that I am better off taking my own teabags wherever I go.

Re: Tea or coffee?

I very occasionally have coffee - but it has to be proper freshly ground and percolated coffee - no 'instant' or messed about with stuff.

Much prefer tea - more thirst quenching - I drink about 8 cups per day. I also drink lots of water.

Re: Tea or coffee?

I like a nice cup of tea in the morning,
For to start the day, you see!
And at half past eleven,
Well my idea of heaven
Is a nice cup of tea!

I like a nice cup of tea with my dinner,
And a nice cup of tea with my tea,
And when it's time for bed,
There's a lot to be said
For a nice cup of tea!

Re: Tea or coffee?

I drink both, coffee strong and black no sugar...tea weak and black no sugar. No set times, I dislike strict routines.

Muslim population of Bulgaria is officially just 7.8% compared to 61% Christian and 9.8% with no religion.

The Coffee you refer to is a regional beverage that was prevalent in the Ottoman sphere of influence and can be found in most of the Eastern Med and Southern Europe/ North Africa.

I had a glass in the very Greek, non Islamic, non-Turkish island of Kos this year.......It was called Turkish Coffee , however.

Btw Coffee is good for the liver, apparantly so I drink both Tea and Coffee depending on my mood.

Re: Tea or coffee?

Tea is a addiction for me, tea is more refreshing i think, whereas coffee is more filling, tea is more comfortable for me than the coffee...

Re: Tea or coffee?

I rarely drink coffee as it irritates my gastritis So tea it is although I've had to go on to de-caff recently and it's not really the same.

I like it strong, if I can taste the milk I won't drink it.

Re: Tea or coffee?

I've never really seen the point of de-caff; it doesn't even taste like coffee.
