Likewise ST I think postal votes should be reserved for the disabled only.

Re: Voting

I have used postal votes since they were introduced. It is far easier than driving to the poling station and trying to find somewhere to park. Plus it does not restrict one to a particular day, especially if you are away on holiday or ill.

Re: Voting

I always go to vote, at all elections both national and local. Even though i've often said....... my vote makes little difference. I live in a strong Labour area, they're always going to get in. But having said that we've now got a Green Councillor. The young lad lives local, and we see see him going around all throughout the year, and he did so even before he got in. When it comes to the main election i'm sure many people will return to their Labour roots, bur next week the Greens are favorite.

Re: Voting

I will not be bothering to vote this time in the locals. I don't know who I'm voting for, never met them, never will probably so what's the point. They are all as useless as each other IMO.

Re: Voting

I sent in my postal vote for the Liberals earlier in the week, the bloke I voted for actually knocked at the door yesterday when I was cooking the tea...

Re: Voting

Just a short walk to our polling station. I will be there, as always to put my X against my chosen candidate.
