A nice day
Out with Veronica to visit Grimsthorpe Castle just north of Bourne in Lincolnshire. And what a wonderful guide and yes the small group we were in. Veronica only came to the UK in 2003 so did not know that much English history. Neither the guide nor the others batted an eye lid when I asked for a moment to briefly explain to V who folks like James the first,Henry the eighth or Nancy Astor were.
