Christopher Lee trained for the Opera before he became a actor and started scaring people?
He has performed in - and recorded a 'heavy metal' rock opera on the life of Charlamagne - which is interesting and I like it although heavy metal would not be my usual choice.
He has also recorded some of Tolkien's songs - Listen to this one from LOTR - he is amazing. Love that man !
I liked what i heard, he was spot on for the Treebeard song, bearing in mind his age would affect his voice it would be interesting to hear something from his time the trained he for the Opera.
I have to confess that I do prefer his wonderful speaking voice to his singing which is why he himself no doubt took up acting rather than making singing his career. .
