We I was very small we used to go to St Ive's in Cornwall.
In St Agnes we stayed in a small hotel & just down the road a lane led off to a field, it belonged to the house there & in the field was a bay pony. I used to make a fuss of her, the owner told me she had taught many children to ride & her name was Flossie, she was nearly 40 years old. I visited her for a few years every time we stayed there & one day sadly, she was gone, aged 43. I also loved walking down Stippy Stappy to get to the beach, Trevaunance cove.

I just love that story Tiff. I'm tired now, but I will post a story tomorrow. Thanks.

How do you remember bygone Summers?
I tried to help but apparently you are not entitled to a summer.

😁😁😁 like it and its true.

I'm hoping its going to be better weather next week as my daughter is taking her mum down to Cornwall for a week.
But I dont want the better weather just for them as I have got to go and stay in my ex's house to look after her house cat. He has a really big cage built onto the house with access for him through a window. Plus I also have to go twice a day to my daughters house to look after her guinea pigs that live in the garden. So most of my week will be spent in gardens supervising animals so I need sunshine and warm weather.

After a dull start it has bucked up a bit, and the sun is shining.

We had previously visited Jersey, but not being a party animal like Sweetie, more of an outdoorsy person, we found Guernsey so relaxing and friendly, with some beautiful walks.....
This was taken on the coast path just one hundred yards from the hotel....

And this one was taken from our favourite restaurant on the top floor of Creaseys family owned department store......
