Re: What are you having for lunch/dinner?

Probably just being more safe than sorry Derek. I am really funny about reheating stuff. The thought of suffering food poison again has made me very wary. Hope you enjoyed your dinner

It was my toast and cheese for lunch.

More cheese in the form of macaroni for dinner. A couple of pickled onions and granary bread on the side

Enjoyed a full roast turkey dinner. It was blimming delicious.

Having eaten roast potatoes cooked with semolina in the carvery a few weeks ago I've started doing it. (Coat them after par boiling/drained, then shake.). Crisps them up. Yummy.

We just had ours ..Cottage pie..

I was in an Irish pub at the weekend and they had cottage pie made with guinness..I had a quick chat with the chef and its simple enough but I wondered if anyone has tried making it?

Beef and guinness pie/casserole Ive done but never a cottage pie!

Lunch was tuna pasta salad. Shop bought as I was so disorganised. Too much mayo which always makes me feel squeamish. Yuck.

Dinner is steak which is on offer in Morrisons. It's pay day after all . I'll have it with baked potato and a caesar salad.

I tried Morrison's Signature pork and chorizo quarter pounders for the first time today and they were really tasty. I cooked some french fries and added a side salad, really enjoyed it!

Marinading some chicken drumsticks in a Chinese flavour. Might have them with rice.
