There is absolutely nothing better than homemade soup. I love making homemade vegetable soup and I don't even follow a specific recipe, I just saute up some onions and garlic in a little olive oil, then just start tossing in whatever I have on hand. Fresh carrots and celery usually always, then whatever I've got hanging around, sometimes canned veg, sometimes frozen, sometimes fresh or sometimes a mixture of all 3. But regardless of what else I use, corn is a must. I love corn and put it in not only homemade soups, but I toss a handful into canned soups as well.Re: OFF slimming club---open to everyone.

Sometimes those are the best soups, the ones you brainstorm at the last minute. Leftover zucchini? Chuck it in. Cabbage that's been sitting around too long but you don't want to throw out? Chuck it in. Oooo, a half pack of mushrooms that I'd forgotten about. That goes in too.
