Re: Mobile Phones

Hi Mups, try opening the back up, take out your sim card and replace it again, it might have got lodged, because I had to do that on a couple of occasions.

Re: Mobile Phones

It happens from time to time Mups
Don't panic

Switch it off completely
Even take the battery out if you can
Give it 5 minutes

When you switch it back on, normal service is usually resumed

Hi

Have a look in Gertie's stash, your Sim Card could be in there.

Oi, no sexism on the site please....

As it happens I was stuffing my face with cheese on toast when you had your panic attack, and I suggest you go and do the same whilst the phone sorts itself out...

Re: Mobile Phones

Is it sorted Mups...
Go to Settings,
..then go to networks,
..then select network where you should see yours ,
..turn off then on again which should force a connection to yours.

The wording is slightly different on various phones.

Re: Mobile Phones

Thank you once again folks, but it seems alright again now.
I am so pleased, because I didn't understand how to fiddle with it.

Our EZ said the same as you Rhian, just turn it off, leave it a little while, then turn it back on, bit like rebooting a computer. I tried it, and it seems to have put it right again.
Thanks everyone for your suggestions though.

Re: Mobile Phones

I suspect your phone has been possessed by an evil spirit Mups, it will need Exorcising, you can do it yourself. Take it into church and place it carefully into the font making sure that it has been totally immersed in holy water. The bubbles coming from the phone are the evil spirit leaving your phone. When the bubbles stop, remove it from the font dry it off and give it a try........If the water in the font was only tap water it will be bu&&ered, but if it was holy water you will observe a miracle....
