Sorry Art but Ena Sharples and Hilda Ogden are what I imagine when I see a shower cap! It's bad enough having foils on at the hairdresser. I cannot imagine anything less glamorous. Although I am sure that you still look glam with it on being able to carry it off a bit like Marilyn in the potato sack.

Re: When You Stay In A Hotel, What Do You Keep?

In some countries I've visited, the tour guide actively encourages the group to take the toiletries and give them to local people as they are so poor, they just can't afford western style toiletries. Most seem genuinely grateful.

Perhaps that's not such a bad idea to do in this country with the homeless?

it's amazing isn't it what we take for granted. But if unused the hotel will recycle for the next guest. Would a homeless person want a half used bottle? Perhaps. Or do you mean taking it with you unopened in order to donate? It would be interesting to see the reaction of top hotels to that proposal.

They are just right to be put into packs for homeless people.
