Sainsbury's Daffy Easter prices

I often buy those £1 bunches of daffs that you can get in tesco and sainsbury's at this time of year as it's nice to see them open and brighten a rainy day.

What a shock to see that Sainsbury's didn't have those yesterday. Instead they had a "seasonal flowers" slightly larger bunch of slightly different daffs priced at at fiver! What a cynical exploitation of Easter shoppers!

Sorry Annie, but I saw the title and just couldn't resist. Show it to the grandkids...

Re: Sainsbury's Daffy Easter prices

Mrs LDs bought a couple of bunches from Waitrose (also £1 a bunch). they were lovely and had a lovely scent to them. she bought some more a couple of days ago but no scent and more of a pale yellow than the bold yellow. disappointed.

I never ever buy bunches of flower, a complete waste of money, imo. I will buy someone a plant, which will last.

I bought some daffs for myself in Saisnbury's this very morning, plus a bunch for my friend as well, and they were only £1 per bunch.

You don't even need to look at who's posting.
They are always the most negative and disagreeable posts on the forum

Re: Sainsbury's Daffy Easter prices

What is wrong with thinking bunch of flowers is a waste of money, as they die off very quickly?
