Re: Sainsbury's Daffy Easter prices

Hi everyone, I really love it when the Daffies are in bloom. SPRING IS HERE....okay, I know this weekend is not a barometer of how it usually is at Easter, but just seeing daffodils, tulips, crocus, bluebells in bloom, plus the beautiful cherry blossom on the trees, really lifts my spirit.

I just wish I could put all my winter woolies away, but dare not yet.

I haven't seen any bluebells around here. There is a beautiful bluebell wood in Guernsey.

The daffs have already been grown, cut and sold in bunches so if we don't buy them they will all die for nothing.

Tara, we are fortunate to have one of the best preserved old Iron Age Hill Forts in Great Britain nearby. Of course it is all grassed over now but a slow steady walk to the top is really worth it to appreciate the absolute beauty of seeing carpets of bluebells growing on all sides. It really makes one appreciate the beauty of our English countryside.
