The Cynicism of Big Business and Drugs Companies.

Hi

Goldman Sachs, greedy bankers extraordinaire, have put out a note saying that curing illness is not a viable business model.

Sorry but no surprises there TBH.

Making people sick is big business. Create a stable situation with lots of people getting sick repeatedly or for long periods and then sell them the potions, pills and treatments.

Everything is about money now, profit vs cost. Governments aren't operating as benevolent entities for the people any more.

The crooks rule the roost and are untouchable. Hence we are all at war whether we like it or not.

We are engaged in a war on our health on multiple fronts and you have a choice, either lay down and go quietly into the night being the victim, or take responsibility and defend yourself and survive.

The crooks will keep making us sick. Creating flu strains, cancers or whatever and they have the health services in their pockets so that they have a long term conveyor belt of treatments to put people on. It's a real money spinner at the expense of our health and well being.

Yes there are many well intentioned caring people in the health services but they are all under the cosh, all having to follow process and procedure or lose their jobs.

The health industry is itself very sick and the root cause are the crooked conglomerates at the top.

Capitalism at its core just doesn't work for a happy healthy society. I look forward to the day more realise that and we abandon money as our God and embrace people as more important.

Obviously for every medical discovery there are going to be big businesses blocking it's success. You have to wonder why we made heaps more progress during victorian times & pre WWII compared with the modern day.

That will never happen Julie. You look at history and people have never been embraced as important. Whether it's a capitalist model or communism, or slavery, or the feudal system. We have probably seen the most enlightened times after WWII where ideals were applied and freedom was championed. Since about the late 80s it's been going backwards.

But whatever replaces capitalism in the long term will not create a system where we have the sheer choice, quality and access to goods and services we have now.

It's funny but at some point in the future people will be looking at the time we were young as a nostalgic golden era of peace and prosperity.
