Cream cheese makes a great base for pasta sauce, philly or dairylea, add a splidge or so of chilli sauce - heaven ( although that’s pure sugar so probably not what you are after )
One I do for chicken is fine diced mushroom, scallion, tomato, soften, flambé a good dash of brandy or whiskey then add cream and boil till desired consistency
Leeks are nice, soften in butter and add cream cheese to melt with a dash of cream
