Your favourite decade

What's your favourite decade, not just for music.

What year were you at your most fulfilled and at peace with the world, your most creative & alive?.

I remember the SWINGING SIXTIES, going up to Carnaby Street. I remember Twiggy appear ing as Queen of the mods.

Pavement sweepers long coats touching the ground.
We broke out of our straitjackets & lived!

Re: Your favourite decade

My favourite decade has to be the ‘70s when our premature twins were born. To watch those tiny 3lb10oz and 4lb2oz babies thrive and give us so much enjoyment in their important early years was worth more than anything I could wish for.

Re: Your favourite decade

The Sixties for sure. I got out from under the Parental Thumb in 1966 and really started to live my life my way.

Re: Your favourite decade

My favourite years were the late 90's when my son was raised and well set in his own business, then I could really start living my own life.

The 60`s, best music, fashion. miniskirts, the pill, the feeling of freedom.

Me too Sweetie pie. I got divorced and was finally let off the leash, had a great time and also spent lots of time painting, going out and smoking.

As for the music, it has to be the late seventies early eighties.

Things that are possible, thanks to science and technology, which weren't in days gone by.
