Trump cancels Kim summit amid North Korea 'hostility'

US President Donald Trump has cancelled a summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, saying the world had "lost a great opportunity for lasting peace".

He said his decision was because of "tremendous anger and open hostility" in a recent North Korean statement.
Trump's been played for a dupe - Kim Jong-un was just stringing him along all the time .....

Depends how you view it doesn't it?

You could say the little N.Korean's called Trumps bluff.
Quite cleverly too. Is he normally so savvy at playing the political doubletalk. Or has someone advised him?

Both started off mouthing off threats to each other.
Bad.
Diplomatic talk is entered into .. the hope of agreement.
Good.
Little Kim says he's dismantling his nuclear testing site as a gesture of good faith.
But he then pulls Trump up over the USA engaging in military manoeuvres in South Korea and threatens to cancel the talks.

And so now Trump has cancelled them? A case of Last worditis and personal pride?
Did Trump misjudge him? Did Little Kim play him at his own game?

I wonder if Trump will now fall back on threatening him with his 'bigger, Red Button' again.
