Re: supreme court or Queen over Brexit

Oh come on! One of the major planks of the Westminster system (flawed though it is in Westminster) is the Separation of Powers (enshrined in the Australian Constitution BTW).

The Legislature makes the Laws
The Judiciary interprets the Laws
The Executive applies those Laws

In reality there is some overlap between the Legislature and the Executive however this is what has happened with the Supreme Court case: now you want to fall back on the divine right of Kings to override this? Are you mad?

No doubt just meekly signing where she is asked to.
Hi

Spot on.

The Queen is a figurehead, she does not intervene.

Hence the need for the supremacy of Parliamnet...an hy there is a case before the Supreme Court.

The Queen cannot intervene nor can the govt use her ancient powers to dictate what will happen. The only decisive voice is Parliament.

That is the case being discussed this month.

Yet, the EU treaties, every one of them, has required the royal assent of the Queen. If she has no power, if this right of the monarchy doesnt exist why then is she required to sign and give assent to those treaties?

The truth is that she generally rubber stamps acts of parliament but is still required to be there as a final veto check to ensure that nothing parliament does, contravenes the fundamental British Constitution and the sovereignty, laws and customs of the land. This is what she swore to do during her Coronation.

She has EVERY right AND THE POWER to decline royal assent and in fact it is her absolute duty to do so when parliament attempt to alter the constitution or impact the nation's sovereignty and judiciary, laws and customs.

She has regrettably failed to uphold that Coronation Oath in many people's opinions and many believe her actions to be treason. This is very serious indeed. Serious for her, for the entire monarchy and for everyone else involved in the entire EU sham.

Along with Tony Blair, the Queen changed the treason laws so that the punishment was no longer hanging until death. Obvious to see why !

The British people have been badly betrayed and once again will be required to fight for their country, for their freedoms, for the freedoms of their children and to prevent the country being invaded and taken over by foreign megalomaniacs. How sad that this cycle repeats over and over in this world, but those with evil intent and notions of world dominance will never go away.

Get prepared imo because war is upon us whether you want it or not. The war has been going on since the 70s-80s on a covert basis rather than with guns and bombs. The enemy is amongst you.

The Queen, (god bless her and all who sail on here) will do as she is told and sign whatever she is told by her ministers then she will walk the corgis.
