My techie installed a new SSD in my desktop yesterday, and handed me the original C drive a 1TB HD still containing everything. The speed is much better in many aspects.
If SSD's are that good and relatively inexpensive why are they not now included as standard in new laptops and PC's ?
It might be because the thinking is that bigger is better. It is true that a 1TB SSD would be indeed cost a lot more than a 1TB HDD. It perhaps doesn't matter to most buyers that not much of the 1TB will get used. The space is available and that's what most want ..and at a low cost.
