Roses

Gardening info says just prune about a third of your roses now, to help prevent too much wind rock in the winter winds, then prune them harder around Feb/March.

What do you do?

Re: Roses

Some of mine are still flowering like mad!
I tend to chop mine back as soon as they appear to have stopped flowering, some I pruned in September.
Sometimes I get worried and go out and gather the late roses and put them in a vase to brighten things up otherwise they get frosted and are no good to anyone!
I'm getting to that point now, one of my red ones has about thirty roses and buds so I'll just chop them off.
I seems to work!
