Hi Julie, I wouldn't waste too much time feeling sorry for Mrs May.
She choose to take it on, after all she has been in politics most of her life, 10 years of that in the Home Office and knew exactly what may be involved.
In fact, I believe Andrea Leadsom was probably made to stand down so that Mrs May could take the 'crown'.
She probably will not be worrying about the poor people in this country when she retires to her mountain retreat. At the moment she seems more concerned about the EU 27 Nations than UK people. Ref her quote in her Florence speech
(quote) "Still I do not want our partners to fear that they will need to pay more or receive less over the remainder of the current budget plan as a result of our decision to leave." (unquote). She and David Davis keep mentioning it.
