hedge trimming

No dentist today he has a power cut. Should have put more money in the meter. So instead we have been trimming back the front hedge opposite our front door. The amount of dead twigs etc , you can see the thatch like part we cut,all dead stuff

Removed 2 large plastic bags full. Can't square off the top properly as next door likes it high so can only do our side.

Hopefully now the one with berries will spread and full that gap which it couldn't do before

Re: hedge trimming

That's a nice healthy hedge. Maybe if you keep trimming the face regularly it'll grow lengthways.

Re: hedge trimming

Nice neat cutting, our hedge at the caravan is full of holes we keep trying to allow them to fill in but the farmer cuts the other side, always looks like a huge toothed monster has eaten it rather than trimmed it !

Re: hedge trimming

Hi Realspeed. Having removed our hedge at the front of the house and replaced it with a fence, I have an electric trimmer going spare if you or anyone else wants it. Cheapo B&Q thing, but works fine and hasn't been used often (which is kind of a clue as to why we got rid of the hedge). Not worth the hassle of putting it on ebay and charity shops don't accept electrical things.

PM me your address if interested

thanks for the offer but I already have a petrol and electric hedge trimmer. I gave another petrol one to a neighbour.
