Hi

About as accurate as your forecast that the financial situation will recover by next week.

Re: The Aftermath of the referendum

It's a waste of time judging what goes on in the EU by what the papers say or what is reported on TV. We have been lied to. Everyone is heaping the blame on the Brexit supporters but look at what the Remain promoters have been telling us. No jobs, No-one will trade, WW3 and many more threats and of course a certain number of the general electorate will believe it. As time goes on more and more information is being offered exposing a corrupt EU parliament. Juncker, European Commission president is reported to being too fond of alcohol, the late Jacques Barrot, ex Euro. comm. for Justice amongst other titles, was convicted of fraud, but sentence quashed under amnesty of the French government. The whole of the European commission resigned as a result of a fraud investigation and to protect the guilty, they resigned as a whole (including Neil Kinnock!!) Talking of which, not only is he on the EU gravy train but so is his son and daughter. No wonder they don't want to leave the EU.

Many companies that have left the UK have done so with EU grants and loans. The ludicrous grants to farmers not to farm produce so that they can in the EU. Fishing quotas that force fishermen to throw perfectly good fish back whilst importing fish that we want. Of course we'll still be trading, we're part of the G7, G20 as one of the worlds biggest economies. We're a member of NATO which I would imagine would prevent WW3 breaking out amonst member countries but we would still support them if necessary elsewhere. We're in the Commonwealth League of Nations of which our queen is the head. That doesn't sound like the doom and gloom portrayed. Of course it will be sad news for the lobbiests and the industrialists who pull the EU strings.

Surely we can handle our own money and put it where it's needed. I don't see Britain as being Great any longer, we have given up and given in to a federal government. I do see where we can have a better future for our children and grandchildren but we need a government that puts money in the coffers instead of taking it out.

And, contrary to the opinion of the prophets of doom, the sky hasn't fallen down.

Well said. The EU have been systematically trying to destroy this country as evidenced by those examples you give. Why? Presumably so that we will become a weak member of their ultimate aim of an empire, unable to resist.

Fortunately, we have seen sense just in time and, assuming our leaders don't let us down, we can now go ahead to regain our dignity.

Re: The Aftermath of the referendum

Well after that lot when does the goodie train arrive from the outers!?

When are we going to get all the good things they said that leaving would deliver?

Or is all we are going to get a Union Jack Flag for some exiters to wrap their lack of a plan ideas in?

Brilliant Post FF, despite some people on this forum who voted to remain in the EU (you know who you are) accusing Brexiters of only using immigration as their reason to vote out, it wasn't. Freshfields has explained my main reason to be free of the corruption and hidden agenda that is the EU.
