Re: Bake off

I get hungry when watching . Very clever some of the baking . I've not baked for years , if I did I'd eat it all myself

Re: Bake off

Just enjoyed watching this tonight

That young Liam is very good for such a young man. I'd have happily tucked into the pies he made tonight.

I can't say I liked the look of any of the fillings ...
I can remember making a raised pork pie at school in the cookery class, we used a jam jar as a dolly to shape it .

Re: Bake off

I have been watching this, but record it and just fast forward thru the adverts. Note that it is obviously same production team and scriptwriters as, despite the front people being different, the 'jokes', etc are all the same as previousl

Re: Bake off

Yes, I’m not noticing much difference really. I just wish they weren’t trying so hard with the staged silly jokes.

Re: Bake off

I decided at the beginning of the series I was not going to like, but I must admit I have come around. Thoroughly enjoying it now.

What makes it for me is seeing the interaction between the bakers, something never shown before.

I love that they do actually help each other out

Re: Bake off

Me too, and you are right, something that rarely happened in the original series, and I must admit to rooting for Liam, a very likeable young man.
