Some impressive celebrity dancers last night.

My favourite three were Davood (Kush), Debbie McGee ... extremely fit at 58, and Joe McFadden.

Chizzy and Pasha are going to be fun to watch and may turn out to be the viewers favourite

Who will go first??? Brian Conley gets my vote

Mags, l forgot to mention Brian Conley in my previous post. He is so funny and his happy face cheers you up. I hope he does well in the competition.
He's my favourite!

Yes, I agree Cinders.
I thought Alexandra Burke was lovely and graceful too.
There were quite a few good 'uns I thought.

The Vicar surprised me, he was much better than I imagined he'd be, yet the judges were mean to him.

I enjoyed the dancing and yes Debbie was very supple think she'll do well. I get a bit fed up with all the talking though . I would have loved to have danced

I agree some good dancers this year.
I recorded the programme and forwarded through the inane chatter . I note 11 mins passed before the contestants got started.

I read somewhere that Debbie McGee was once a professional dancer before she joined Paul Daniels which gives her an advantage over some of the others .
I understand Alexandra Burke also trained in dance when she was a child.

Ive been recording it for years because I dont like all the chit chat.

I must admit the back biting in the press about who had a dance lesson once upon a time and who has an advantage gets annoying too..
Accept it for what it is, a fun dance show all sparkle and campness.

Whoops! I didn't realise this wasn't the Strictly Come Dancing thread l had posted on before! It was the Strictly Launch thread, l had posted on previously!
I also record it and fast forward. I can't stick the two presenters, they are so irritating!!
