Slowed right down

Anyone else having problems with switching from one page/topic to another on here for the last couple of days?

When I click to go on to the next page nothing happens for about half a minute or so, sometimes not at all, it just stays put.

Have refreshed the page, cleared cookies and done scans etc, but still playing up and it is only on this site.

I have had that on other sites. Sorted it by clearing

Browsing history

Download history

Cached images and files

Cookies and other site data

Look and click on 3 dots top right of page

Can be found under settings and advanced - heading is clear browsing data

Remember passwords first and write them down

I've experienced the same on other sites Mups, though not here.

they get real clunky and the pages just seem to hang in limbo.

I did what realspeed has just suggested and it worked for me.

Yes it was for me yesterday Mups, not just on here, but im running some clean up software and im intending to transfer a lot of stuff like photos on too an external hardrive to free up space and memory.

I do delete my browsing history most days, but it's not making any difference this time. I'll switch off for a while and try later I think.

It is an over 50's Site Mups.

Things do take longer as you get older.

Turning it off and back on again (or restarting) is always worth trying.

Are the pages clogged up with adverts? That could be the reason - they're taking too much time loading. The only adverts I see on OFF are for the doggy websites, no offers of marriage from Russian ladies or sexy ladies offering their services in your area here.

Another thing, which browser are you using?

I'm on my lap top at the mo, and it is the big p.c. that keeps going wrong.
