Julie I thought on a previous thread about mobiles you had said you had bought a cubot phone, as I was temped after reading your post to get one when I blew up my doro phone by trying to charge it with a damp charger lead.
Luckily in the end my future DIL gave me her old company phone a Samsung galaxy 6. Really nice phone but a bit girly as it's gold coloured.

C4 and a det cord is far more effective.
