Pop suicides due to benefit cuts into Google and you can pick a newspaper you prefer to tell you how over 80 people have died unnecessarily due to cuts. From The mirror, independent, guardian, times and several others.

Joe, it is a newspaper article in a left wing newspaper. The opinion of a journalist. If it is true why are the Police not prosecuting, or even investigating . These thing happen under every government, they did under the last Labour government and would continue even under Corbyn. You cannot hold people responsible for suicides. Seriously ... is it a serious suggestion that the Tories are culpable of murder or manslaughter?And that no one has ever committed suicide or suffered under a Labour government? No one went to any wars? No one was evicted from their home? No one ever went bankrupt?
Sounds like a sojourn into The Lost Horizon with Julie Andrews complete with flouncing fluffy skirts skipping around in Shangri-La.

It's never been like this morti, I know mistakes have always happened and that's unforgivable but no government has ever gone after benefit claimants in the way they have recently. They have an ethos that assumes everyone can look after themselves and they have to be forced to do so. When anyone with smallest amount of empathy know that's not true. Some will always need help to cope.

People have died due to tories policies, families split and people are on the street dud to them. It's going to get worse as universal credit is wheeled out too. Coming to a council near you soon, homeless people due to a six week wait for a rent payment.
Many more people died in Soviet Russia because of famine and shortages. Never mind the forced labour, march of death to gulags, secret executions, torture etc. Not a positive symbol for socialism.
