Any Indie music fans?

Does anyone listen to Indie music aka Independent bands, no label, plays in bars and fairs etc.? I listen to 95% Indie music and online Indie radio stations. I find the music more real more emotion. If you do let me know about them. I love Instrumentals to Metal!

The Stone Roses....possibly the best Indie band ever...then there's the Inspiral Carpets.

A must listen to is Joy Division.

Old bands, I know.

Re: Any Indie music fans?

The Stone Roses were massive in Europe in the n80s/90s
They split in the 90s and then reformed in 2011(?)they announced 2 concerts to kick off a European tour.

The two concerts sold out(150,000 tickets)within 14 minutes of going on-line....not bad for a band that hadn't performed together for nearly 20 years.

Not bad but a little too polished for my liking.

Indie should be raw...just my opinion.

Thanks for the introduction, i'd not heard of them until now.

Re: Any Indie music fans?

These are all Manchester bands.....in the 80s there was an explosion of bands and a new sound with attitude which had, imho, been missing from the dull offerings of that moment.
