you could have explained that the seat belts aren't comfy in the front....... or put your lad in the boot!

Some dogs just don't like back seat it makes them feel queasy our old Mollie could only travel behind back wheels so in the boot area, back seat, front seat she was very unhappy and you were lucky if she wasn't sick.

He looks like he wants to be anywhere but that luxurious back seat, some dogs just don't know when they are having it all

Nowadays, you can buy dog harnesses which clip into the seatbelt, I have 2 which I use on long journeys on motorways for my dogs.

I have a bit of a problem with that, because I have 4 sitting on the back seat and only three seat belts - and the middle one of them is under the seat cover.

Perhaps you could loop the harness on one of the middle dogs through the harnesses of the two either side. At least it would stop them being thrown forward, they are adjustable.
