Yes, I ought to fiddle about with this really, it's a bit tricky.

It is also surprising how many harnesses are sold which are not even crash tested too.

The harnesses I have are designed by Roger Mugford called 'CLIX' car safe, they seem quite strong. I presume as he is an animal specialist he would have had them tested.

Surprisingly Freespirit, although Roger Mugford's one is said to be very strong, he doesn't actually say it is crash tested.

This one is, but the price is sky high.
I believe there are others though.

This one is a lot less:

Re: Styal Country Park, Please Driver.

I got mine about 5 years ago and from memory they were about £25-£30 depending on size.

They do have wide straps like the Ezydog model, so less likely to cut into the dog. The Easy-Rider straps seem to be quite narrow from the photo so could cut the dog in a heavy impact situation.

You could give the Roger Mugford site a call and ask.

I don't know what they would test, except the buckle that plugs into the seat belt is strong enough to take the strain.

He looks quite calm which I am sure is a relief as it will afford him more traveling adventures in the future. I hope you boys were making a day of it!

I mentioned that Ranger has a similar appearance to Sol, with the white chest markings, though he is more sable.

Here he is smiling, in his usual overly-emotional, excited state.
