Jan darlin' - complain to the Environmental Health Office - if the tree is taking a lot of your light, then you do have 'rights' under 'ancient light' legislation.

It's already been shown to the three housing associations when they visited here a few weeks ago. Waiting for their report.

Good luck jazzi hope they can help you I can't imagine not having enough light, our old oak I just see as an old friend that brings us welcome shade but I can easily see the other side of the argument about trees.
