Well it certainly ended differently to what I thought it would. Apart from his odd not allowing curtains he seemed a nice man, shows what I know I guess.

Since this man entered the flat unlawfully, your friend should now sue him for squillions for 'trespass'.

My landlord does not have a key to my home, and only comes in reluctantly if I invite him to do so. The Letting Agent does have a spare key, but would never visit without an appointment. They inspect the property twice a year, but that is all.
