Re: Do you find yourself nodding off at odd times?

Despite my age and the fact that I am an insomniac, I do not sleep during the day. I think if I did that it would make my insomnia even worse. I only ever sleep for two hour spells during the night, wake for an hour and then sleep another couple of hours. I always wake at 7 am no matter how little sleep I have had. What I would give for a full six hours.

I have only ever nodded off in the car, late at night as a passenger.
Only done that twice.

Sorry to read about your neck Dreamy.

I've been referred for physio, it's not too bad just a bit painful.

I feel your pain

However I do start to nod off sometimes during the day. If I'm only do my part time hours I can manage my life ok. It's when I get asked to work extra hours short notice it becomes a problem

And yes I've fallen asleep at the wheel

Very very scarey. Luckily it was for seconds, luckily the cats eyes woke me and even more lucky, the on coming car was far enough away that we all got straightened before an accident accured

Mostly I could sleep on a knife edge, until it comes to bed time, then if I'm not asleep within 10 mins, I'm up for the night

Meg, Are you my twin? Exactly the same happens to me!
An hour long programme becomes two hours, after all the rewinding etc!

I usually have an involuntary `kipette` around 6pm or so usually half-way through doing my paperwork.

I sometimes drop off when I'm halfway posting a rep zzzzzzzzzz
