Despite promises to the contrary from the scumbag 'nasty party', seems trade deals are not going to be negotiated overnight, nor in fact for some years.

Well since the UK doesn't have a clue about what its relationship with the EU will be until perhaps post 2013, (in or out of the customs union/single market) how can any other 3rd country make any sort of deal or even promise with the UK?
Liam Fox can take a long holiday...surplus to requirements.

Hi

Apart from the date, 2013, I agree with you.

This is a first.

Nobody will be interested until they know about our deal with the EU.

Japan is the best example of this.

It is a crying shame that we have got Liam Fox in charge of Trade Deals.

The arrogant git has put so many backs up that we have now got complaints registered with the WTO, which will take years to resolve.

He does have one claim to fame however, he can out drink Juncker, and that takes some doing.
