National coach holidays were good and I wouldn't hesitate to go on one again. It was a scorching hot day when we travelled there but the coach had wonderful air con and it was so comfortable.

Llandudno is a lovely resort and the weather was fantastic - how lucky we were. We enjoyed going up the Great Orme in the tramcar and the tour of Snowdonia. We called at Chester on the way back - it's a lovely town.

Here are a few pics I took in Llandudno & surrounding area. Some aren't very good as they were taken through the coach window.

It looks lovely...

You picked a good time to go Carol when it was so hot, it must have been beautifully cool by the sea in the evenings

Yes Meg - that evening sea breeze was lovely. We usually went a walk after dinner and sat outside at a bar till almost 10.00pm then returned to the hotel for the last hour of entertainment.

Re: Coach holidays

Last year we had quite a few trips away by using Daish's they do go to some good places and they picked us up not too far from where we live which helped us as I did not want to drive.

We went to Torquay, Weymouth, Isle of Wight and Eastbourne luckily the weather was lovely for all our trips which made a big difference.

They also go to Newquay, Bournemouth and Llandudno and have so many pick up points.

They certainly do fill a market for those who like an easy life.

After being to these places it also let us look around at nearby hotels, guest houses to plan trips ourselves either by me driving or going by train.

So it was a good to use as fact finding trips.

Re: Coach holidays

Excellent photos, Carol. Pleased that you enjoyed your holiday.
We have been on several coach trips over the past 4 years...
New Lanark
Lake District
Royal Leamington Spa /Warwick/ Stratford-upon-Avon
Eastbourne...
Unfortunately the local Coach Company that we used, ceased trading about a year ago.
Athough there's another Company nearby, We would find that they would be using 'feeder' coaches, which we never had with the previous Company...
