Football

What's with all this football on at night all of a sudden?

It's on again tonight from 7.30 till midnight with only a short news break in between. I don't know any other sport that has all these hours of highlights and gassing after a game.
Football is over paid and over rated IMO. - and it drives me nuts.

Sunday mornings too! Perhaps a BBC or ITV sports channel, or just put it on BBC 2 or ITV 2 would be a good idea, stop us moaning, especially when Emmerdale gets taken off!

Yes I agree Tess. At least if they didn't stick it on the main channel it would be so much better. They are only catering for the football fanatics and not the millions of other people who don't like it.

I used to love watching football back in the 70's when players were loyal to their club but these days I don't bother. I don't see how I can support any player that moves to another club the next season. I do enjoy the World cup though (if we are still in it).

Not keen on watching any sport, apart from Tea or Umbrella Duelling, or Poinking highlights!
I don't see the point in being faster or stronger or better at moving a ball about.

It's a pain, isn't it? Wish all sport could have its own channel so it doesn't so often interfere with programming.

Absolutely great it s a nice change from the soap drivel with all the omnibus editions. Real live action as it happens for the millions of fans who like it, not pretendy drivel for the hard of thinking.
