I need a break.

My mother is coming up for the day on Friday. Last night a certain lady rang to ask if I was going to have my bungalow spotless,adding to say she would be checking after work on Thursday. Actually that`s a fib,she offered to help me.

I think three hours cleaning and dusting is enough for today

Even though I say it myself I have never seen my dining room look so clean,shame about the decor but decorating is a long process.

I gave up on spotless a while ago as long as no one gets ill we'll just bumble along I think. Dogs, kids, man at home in the evening looking for things to do its a messy place these days. But I've seen worse so I'm not worrying too much.

I`m not too keen on spotless either. A couple of weeks or so back my lady `tidied` this place-fair do she did a great job but.......... I take warfarin. I cut my finger the other day,not too badly but it was deep enough to bleed,and bleed....where the fcuk did she put my plasters???

Life is far to short to worry about spotless, as long as everything is reasonable clean and tidy, these days, that will do for me

I don't do 'spotless' with a houseful of dogs - but it's home, my home.
