But also there are crampons for maintenance purposes fearless young men abseil underneath the walkway tightening up the bolts that hold it to the rock .
The old path ( no rails rotting concrete ) which was extremely dangerous still runs along underneath .

Imagine the construction people putting that pathway up Wonder how long it took them, and how often they check it over?

Well done Muddy. Not for me I´m afraid, it took me 3 trips to Cuenca to just walk over the iron bridge. I made it there and back on the third trip, with a person either side of me. For me that was an achievement.
