Shergar

As it is Derby Day I though I would post this video of the wonder horse Shergar winning the Derby in. 1981.
Sadly this lovely horse was stolen and murdered by the IRA only 18 months later .
His jockey Walter Swinburne died in tragic circumstances last year .
The footage also shown the late Princess Diana

Dreadful thing to do to an animal & with people who had no idea how to handle a spirited stallion too. I remember that. Didn't they make a film about it to say what most likely happened to Shergar? Think it was a dramatized documentary. I seem to remember seeing it on TV. I don't mean the feature film.

Years later an IRA man said what happened they couldn't get the ransom for him so they killed him .
